Valentine Dates

Posted Feb 14, 2020

Valentine’s Day is a special day to show your loved ones love and affection towards them. Whether you are planning on spending this holiday with your significant other or hanging out with the girls, we have you covered when it comes to your plans. Here are a few creative ideas to make your Valentine’s Day one to remember:

  1. A Paint and Sip Class
This is a great way to spend quality time with either your significant other or your friends. Let your creative side loose while sipping on a glass of wine (or two), and creating a work of art. An added bonus to this date is that you will have a memento to take home with you.

  1. Ice Skating
If you are with your significant other, this is an easy excuse to be close to each other; if you are with your friends, you are bound to have a good laugh when one of you falls flat on the ice. Once you have seen enough of the ice, head off to treat yourselves with some warm drinks. (RumChata, anyone?)

  1. Shopping
If your significant other hates going store to store with you while shopping, make it fun by turning it into a game.  Create a competition where you each have a certain amount of time to find the other a whole outfit from head to toe. If you really want a challenge, set a dollar amount to something cheap and you are bound to get laughs out of what you find for each other. Then, to end the night on a bang, you both have to go out to eat in the entire outfits you picked out for each other no matter what.

  1. Spa Day
Who doesn’t love a relaxing spa day? No matter what the time of year, spa days are luxurious and amazing. A spa day on Valentine’s Day is even better considering most spas offer specials for couples. A spa day at a reduced price? Sign me up! Get pampered with your significant other and indulge in some much-needed self-care.

  1. Amusement Park
If you are in a state where the weather permits an outdoor amusement park this time of year, this would be a super fun date idea! Eating everything from cotton candy to cheese curds, and then bouncing between all of the roller coasters would give you a chance to be a kid again and just have plain old fun together. Did I mention there is people watching available too? If you are in a state that has freezing cold tundra weather right now, you could still do all of this, except at an indoor amusement park. Hello, Mall of America!

We hope you test out one of these Valentine’s Day date ideas! Whatever you do tonight, have fun and tell someone you love them! Happy Valentine’s Day!
